More on the Resurrection. Part 2

Once again I have been led to misunderstand the workings of the universe. The ying yang of asian philosophy is a powerful symbol, representing powerful principles. But an exploration of the opposing forces of the universe can lead to a misunderstanding of reality.

You cannot view “heaven” and hell as opposites represented by light and darkness which need to be harmonized. If heaven really needed to be harmonized just like hell, it wouldn’t be heaven would it? This is an offshoot of neoplatonistic thinking which is erroneous. It leads the believer to apathy and agnosticism or thinking that there is not right or wrong because they are just mirror images of the same reality.

The reality is that darkness is not the “opposite” or reflection of light, it is the absence of it. Likewise hate is not the opposite or reflection of love, it is the absence of it. Most importantly error is not the opposite of truth, it is the absence of it. There is only one true reality in the universe, and that is light, and light is God. Light is harmony, it is the true reality. It is the flame, the sun and the nucleus of an atom. It is a window into the next higher realm. and as we radiate away from that window we get into these supposed “opposites” which are not really opposites but absences of the truth.

So once again, to picture the spirit world as a realm with two “opposite” ends of heaven and hell which are mirror reflections of each-other is error. The reality is more like our solar system with the sun (or source of light) being the highest realm of heaven with all lower realms being a farther distance away from that light. In this sense there would not even be an apex of “hell”, but instead hell would go out forever into outer darkness. If you want to two dimensionally diagram it, then instead of the concentric circles of the solar system, you could picture a unidirectional light point source like a lamp with the light radiating out in the shape of a cone. Thus the light would be the highest heaven or “God”, and the lower heavens or hell’s would be as you move further down to the base of the cone (which also never ends, but simply grows dimmer and less defined as it grows larger.

We can bring the yin yang into this illustration by projecting it into the cone’s plane. This would help to symbolize that as one gets closer to the light source, the yin and yang grow smaller and closer to each-other, symbolizing the unification and harmonizing of all opposites as one moves closer to God and the light. So love is not the opposite of hate, it s the unification of the opposites that create hate. God, light and truth are harmony and unification, and the absence of those tends toward evil. Moving on with our illustration, we could then see how that simply replacing the cone of light with a the pyramids of Egypt and especially the stepped pyramids of Meso-America makes a better symbol for the reality of the Spirit world. Since realms in the spirit world are quantized into separate levels the steps can symbolize each level of the spirit world until we reach the alter or abode of God at the pinnacle of the pyramid cone.

….

…This is the reality of it. This strange view of opposites with no real good or evil is a twisted view of reality. The view of reality where all men must progress from a low selfish state of lust and hate to a higher selfless state of love and chastity has many witnesses. The birth and growth of every child on earth is one. It is presented in the bible, BOM, Oahspe, Gone West and more. What witness does the other view have? None, because it comes from the mind of a diranged spirit which wishes to exercize power over you for its own selfish gain. Forsake it, Control it, Be rid of it.

Perhaps one of the worst aspects of the doctrine you have been taught is its cuase of apathy in ones heart. With the understanding that “everything is as God wants it” you mistakenly assume that there is no real reason or motivation for “saving” or lifting others… This is a grosely mistaken notion! Should you not teach your children not to lie, steal or kill because creation as a whole is perfect? God forbid! A good parent teaches his children righteousness/justice, harmony and truth. And a true Saint has enough charity to consider all men his children! It is the work of the enlightened to lift others to the light. Doing good and helping others do good is what brings us toward the light, etherean worlds and heaven.
