Overcoming Sexual Addiction & Pornography

Overview Under Construction…
This is a big topic. A huge issue with no simple solution. Iv read a lot of good material on the subject, but none of it really covered all the bases. None put it into proper perspective, none got to the root of the problem (imbalance), and none gave the true solution (It just takes time. Be ready for 5-10 years of growing up.)
Much like many mental illnesses, addiction should not be looked at like someone with a virus who needs to take some mental medicine and just get better. Instead they should be looked at like a child standing on the fulcrum of a teeter totter. As they seek to learn how to balance, they are likely to sway and totter, and perhaps even cause one side of the plank to crash down from time to time, but if they are committed eventually they will find their balance; they just need to understand what they are balancing and consistently work on it.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION
ON A PURELY PHYSICAL LEVEL:
-it is rare for men not to be addicted to sex at some point in their lives. God and evolution have simply created the physical aspect of our bodies that way.
In an optimum situation, a man’s first intense sexual encounter would be with his wife. Thus the addictive chemical stimulus, hormones and cerebral pathways would be created once married and an ‘addiction’ would be formed for sex with his wife. At very least it is satisfied by his wife, and with a minimal amount of self-control it is kept satiated within marriage. Within reasonable bounds this is healthy, and has been the norm among mankind since the dawn of time. For those, who for whatever reason, have intense first sexual encounters outside of marriage aberrations and perversions occur in the ‘natural’ addiction. They may become addicted… pornography is just like drugs… it releases hormones that are intended to take ‘work’ to release, and circumvents natural sexual checks and balances that a relationship (especially when kids come into the picture) inately creates.
ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL:
-you have to get at the root of the issue
(they are seeking yellow ray activation. you have to understand spiritual levels, and the process of progression. You have to understand how “Every principle of Truth has its illusory physical aspect on the mortal plane, and every physical type has a higher spiritual Truth which it reveals)
-you have to put it into proper perspective, giving it too much or too little import, perpetuates the imbalance and thus the addiction. (Violence is one step worse. Violent video games or fantasies are worse. Our societies views on sex are quite unbalanced. Western law has violence & theft prosecuted and inappropriate sexual activities (adultery, extramarital sex) held ___not bad, while religion has tried to compensate making adultery worse than ____ and viewing pornography worse than
-you had better be ready for a 5-10 year struggle… it’s just that simple. The addiction is a symptom not a cause. It is a symptom of an imbalance, which needs to be balanced and that takes time. The degree of the imbalance will dictate how long the balancing will take. In most instances it really just takes time and growing up, and trying to “force” your learning, progression and balancing just makes it take longer. Secrecy feeds imbalance and addiction, you need to have a SUPPORIVE support group and people to talk to, because the addiction is caused by your imbalanced perspective, and how can you balance your perspective without a number of other opinions? Parents and religious leaders can make it worse by offering a wrong perspective, improper judgment and unsupportiveness… mothers and wives may feel betrayed and add to the imbalance.
-desire/lust and disgust/spite are two sides of the same coin of improper judgments. When one despises that which should not be despised, they often end up lusting after, and vice-versa. A parent’s lust can lead to a child’s spite and a grandchild’s lust. Imbalances perpetuate through generations switching from one extreme to the other until someone atones the imbalance.
The internet operates according to and under the bounds of the law of one (agency). For all that is good, bad must be equally represented. The internet was not invented simply for genealogy; it was given to man as a way to spread truth. The concepts of truth which are becoming available upon the internet give individuals the ability to transcend mortality and exalt their spirits to the highest heavens.
It should come as no surprise therefor that the evil ones would be allowed to equally spread substances which can damn men to the lowest hells. Those who would use this tool must be able to search out the truth and shun the evil if they are to rise. This is not merely a mortal endeavor! Know that the spirits and angels of heaven and hell are present in every effort in your search for truth. The more fervently you search for truth, the more fervently you will be presented evil. He who wishes to ascend must favor the wheat and avoid the tares!
