Islam’s Role/Rule

I just learned a cool type to help us understand the role of Islam in God’s plan.
In the scriptures, Mohammad and Justinian/Islam and Gentile Christianity are typified by Aaron and Joshua. Both Mohammad and Justinian claimed to be modern Moses, but in truth, Moses was up on the mount with the Lord (in heaven), it was these two who led the camp of Israel in his absence.
However, the better parallel is likely between the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. Both Judah and Mohammad mean praise. Judah was cursed for his slaughter of Shechem in revenge for the rape of Dinah. His act was cold but just, much like that of Mohamed and Islam.
Judah is Justice and his birthright is to rule politically. Joseph is mercy and his birthright is to lead spiritually and even politically (through Judah/pharaoh).
“The Scepter shall not depart from Judah, etc.” Gen. 49:10. “For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him comes the chief ruler [prince]; but the Birthright is Joseph’s,” 1 Chron. 5:2.
Justinian = Joshua as
Joshua = Jesus and
Christianity = Christ. Yet Western Christianity was more like Aaron in that it held the priesthood and was scattered
Aaron Judah = Praise as Mohamed = Praise
It was Aaron who built the Golden Calf/Idol.
Miriam probably helped. (the whore who is later made clean/virgin?) she is struck with leprosy for her pride.
The descendants of Aaron (and Miriam?) are made the Levite priests to carry priesthood.
It was Joshua (jesus) who led Israel during the conquest/Jihad of the promised land.
Joshua accompanied Moses up the mount (but not into the holy of hollies to see God).
We see a reflection of it in Numbers 11:28, where Joshua became zealous to protect the purity of God’s anointing. Numbers 11:16–30 tells the story. Moses gathered 70 elders to pray for them to receive an impartation of his anointing. Unfortunately, two of the elders were unable to make that meeting and were not anointed. However, they started to prophesy, even though Moses had not laid hands on them. Joshua was upset about that because he wanted to protect the purity of God’s anointing. He did not want anyone doing “God stuff” unless they operated in God’s Spirit and anointing. In other words, Joshua developed a real purity and dedication to God as he spent time in God’s presence.
” The most serious and lasting mistake of Justinian’s reign was the persecution of heretical Christians.
The eastern empire had always been distinguished from the western empire by the proliferation of religions and metaphysical speculation as a characteristic of religions. This did not substantially change with the advent of Christianity. Although non-Christians were stamped, the eastern Christians engaged in high intellectual speculation on theological and Christological questions with a fervor unmatched in the West. You might say that the model of Christian belief in the east was more mystical and philosophical while the Christian belief in the west was more practical and obedience-centered”
But Justinian went even further—to demonstrate his commitment to Latin Christianity, he began a series of oppressive persecutions of Monophysites in Syria and Egypt. This would have a profound effect on later history—the Monophysite Christians, horribly persecuted by the Byzantines, welcomed Muslim conquerors with open arms based on their promise to tolerate their religion
Islamic law was to let Muslims provinces and converts self govern. Those nations who would not convert would have to pay a tax but if they payed it they were protected and allowed to self-govern. Those who would not convert or pay the tax or revolted were to be destroyed. Nearly all picked conversion or taxation, and of course those rulers of nations who chose taxation eventually would be overthrown by the powerful capitalists who sought the monetary advantage of escaping taxation.
